Here's a page regarding increased oil capacity in internal fuel combustion engines (Lazy-links never seem to work for me):[ http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/6250274-description.html ] I think most of it's obvious if you think like an engineer, however I'm really interested in how you designed the baffles, if you took your leads from any marketed oil pans, and if you have any other pieces which might make it special (how about a threaded inlet for an oil temp sensor at the back of the pan? An enlarged magnetic drain?) Would we see similar gains from an upgraded oil cooler without buying the extra sludge?
